Corporate Social Responsibility

As a field sales and marketing company our key focus is people. Without our people we cannot function.
Our culture is very important at CPM and part of our culture is about providing people with the power to do great things.
While we do not have a full Corporate Social Responsibility programme we do encourage our people to get involved and create opportunities to make a difference.
We like to be able to give them the opportunity to do something good outside of the everyday field sales roles and get involved with activities under the following areas:

Corporate social responsibility

Environmental
Every Christmas we send an e-card to all of our clients and suppliers instead of a paper card to save waste of paper and donate the money saved to charity

Corporate social responsibility

Community
Casino and Cocktails in Aid of The Irish Cancer Society

Corporate social responsibility

Workplace
Supporting International Women’s Day along with our sister companies as part of an Omnicom initiative

corporate social responsibility

Marketplace
We ensure that our suppliers are running their businesses ethically and sustainably as part of the quality checks when running procurement tenders

corporate social responsibility

Community
Our most recent initiative was a coffee morning in aid of Daffodil day for the Irish Cancer Society

corporate social responsibility

There are many reasons why a company believes in having a corporate social responsibility:
1. To Show a True Commitment
2. Social Media Visibility
3. Public Relations Benefits
4. Government Relations
5. Building a positive work environment

While at CPM we believe there are benefits for every reason above our priority reason is point 5.
When employees and management feel they are working for a company that has a true conscience, they will likely be more enthusiastic and engaged in their jobs. This can build a sense of community and teamwork which brings everyone together and leads to happier, more productive employees.
