A warm and sunny bank holiday weekend is in store across the country with temperatures reaching 21 degrees in some places! At CPM we have gathered a list with some great activities happening during this bank holiday weekend on Shopping Centres, Festivals as well as the opening hours of the main supermarkets.

1. Sligo International Chamber Music Festival

Taking place in St Columba’s Church Drumcliffe and The Model Sligo over the May bank holiday weekend, Sligo International Chamber Music Festival is a highlight in the annual calendar of music events.

3. Kilkenny Rythm and Roots 2018

Since 1998 the festival has attracted some of the finest names in the Americana/Roots canon, including Calexico, Giant Sand, Ryan Adams, Alejandro Escovedo, Guy Clark, Chuck Prophet, Ray LaMontagne, Richmond Fontaine, Rodney Crowell, Phosphorescent, Sturgill Simpson and Alabama Shakes.

4. Star Wars Festival

Calling all Jedis and rebels - you may want to book out the first May bank holiday weekend for an epic Star Wars festival! The best part is, Brits won't have to trek to a galaxy far, far away for the sci-fi extravaganza, as the three-day event will be taking place in Ireland.
